For Christmas, my father-in-law bought Monet a notebook-type drawing book called Draw Really Cool Stuff. It has six tabbed drawing sectionsand boasts that there are "hundreds of exciting and fun images to draw." It wasn't the first thing he attacked when he opened his grandparents' gifts (it's hard to compete with a HoverDisc and a HoverCopter) but in the past two days, both he and Houdin have been drawing like mad. They seem to be especially drawn (no pun intended) to the ocean animals and the cars.
Yesterday, Houdin went to the library with my dad and while he was there, asked if they had any drawing contests coming up. They actually did! There was a contest for drawing superheroes, so Houdin drew some kind of blue superhero and turned it in before he left.
